Our agricultural property valuation services cover projects of any size within the agricultural sector from wine, fruit, poultry and other farms to ranches and reserves as well as manufacturing/packing/cold storage facilities linked to this industry.
Our Valuers visit a location and traverse the area noting all assets. Buildings (including lodges), machinery, livestock, crops, storage facilities, vehicles and contents are all considered. Each component is recorded, listed and expressed in a Valuation Report and Certificate.
NB! – It is worth mentioning that many assets are recorded in the company financials at zero value (no book value) due to depreciation over time. However, many of these assets are still in use and contribute to the financial wellbeing of the organisation. They therefore should be valued accordingly, not only on the financial side, but also for insurance and other purposes– “FAIR VALUE”.
A new valuation service offered by The Valuator Group is the valuation of wild game on Game Reserves and Ranches. This service is carried out by a professional team which includes helicopter pilots and spotters. In addition to this service the team can also compile an Ecology Management Report for clients at a substantially reduced fee as both services are carried out concurrently. On the movable and immovable insurance inventory side for farms and game farms, we can also offer a Risk Analysis Report (including exposure), General Safety Report and Fire Risk Management Survey Report as part of the package.
